Group Bookings & Concessions
Groups of 8 or more receive a 15% discount on all fares. Senior concession cards (65+) qualify for the child rate. All concessions must be presented at the time of boarding. Contact us for school group packages and corporate rates.

Frequently Asked Questions
During peak season (November–April) and school holidays, pre-booking is strongly recommended as ferries can sell out. Off-peak season, walk-up tickets are usually available but booking ahead guarantees your preferred departure time.
Your safety is our priority. If a service is cancelled due to adverse weather conditions (strong winds, cyclone warnings, or high swells), you will receive a full refund or the option to rebook on the next available service at no extra charge. We monitor conditions daily and will notify you by phone or email.
Small pets in approved carriers are permitted on request. A $15 each-way fee applies. Please notify us at the time of booking. Note that Dunk Island is a national park, and pets must remain in carriers on the island at all times.
Yes, the ferry has an onboard toilet facility. The crossing is only 15 minutes, but facilities are available for your comfort.
Boarding is from the Wongaling Beach jetty at Mission Beach, located at 13 Wongaling Beach Road. Parking is available on site. Please arrive at least 20 minutes before departure as boarding closes 10 minutes prior to scheduled departure.
Day-tripper tickets include 10 kg carry-on luggage. Camping transfer tickets include 25 kg. Excess luggage is charged at $3 per kg. For oversized or heavy equipment (surfboards, kayaks, bikes), additional fees apply — see the pricing section above.
Yes! Return tickets are valid for any scheduled departure within 30 days of purchase. Simply show your ticket at check-in. No need to pre-book your return trip — just turn up at the Dunk Island jetty before your chosen departure time.
The vessel can accommodate manual wheelchairs. Please advise us at the time of booking so we can arrange appropriate boarding assistance. Powered mobility scooters need to be assessed individually — contact us prior to booking.
