Dunk Island is a tropical island located off the Mission Beach coastline in Far North Queensland, within the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park. Known to the Djiru People as Coonanglebah — meaning "Island of Peace and Plenty" — Dunk Island is a place of extraordinary natural beauty.
The island features lush rainforest, pristine beaches, diverse wildlife, and a tranquil atmosphere that makes it one of Queensland's most special island destinations.
Dunk Island offers eco tent accommodation and campsites, providing a close-to-nature island experience.
Eco Tents are fully equipped glamping-style tents set within the island environment, while the campsite is ideal for those who prefer to bring their own gear. Both options can be booked through the online booking portal.
